Author Bobby Brown

Bobby Brown was born in Shreveport, Louisiana and has been a lifelong resident of Shreveport.

He is a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics/Psychology from the University of California.

For over twenty years, Bobby has been the Owner of Brown’s Custom Services, a general contracting service specializing in building and remodeling residential homes. He currently serves as President of the Board of Directors of the North West Louisiana First Tee, and contributing writer for the African American Golfer’s Digest. Bobby’s life was transformed when he connected with God on a full time basis and began to get into His word (the Bible) daily. One of his spiritual fathers and personal teacher of the word was the late Reverend Curtis F. Roberson. Before Brother Roberson went to be with the Lord, he told Bobby “You are now ready to do God’s will, listen and obey Him, and go out and share His love to all human kind.”

Bobby is an inspirational writer of poetry for many years. A majority of his poetry has been copyrighted and published, including Happiness is the Key of Life; What Race or Color is Jesus; What is a Godly Woman – Thank you Lord – Breath of Life – How is your Attitude – Why do you go to Church; Casinos Are Designed to Keep You Away From God; Life is a Journey; Mother Earth; If God Said Do It, Do It; Life is in the Blood; Eat and Be Merry; Never Be Hurt Again; and; How to Choose Happiness. His recent publication, Recognize God For Who He Really Is, is truly inspired from God!
